    Our co-op group had a remarkable experience during an Adventure Tuesday visit to the Mass Audubon Ipswich River Wildlife Refuge. We enjoyed feeding wild birds, hiking on beautiful paths, and exploring a rock grotto. The adventure was particularly enchanting for the children and resonated with their recent homeschooling curriculum on winter birds. The co-op plans to revisit the wildlife sanctuary due to its wide array of learning experiences and recreational activities.

    Drumlin Farm, a Mass Audubon property in Lincoln, MA, is a vibrant and educational family destination. The working farm offers a varied experience, with animals, machinery, and programs for homeschoolers. Visitors can explore habitats, enjoy scavenger hunts, learn about the farm animals, and participate in unique activities. The farm also cultivates pesticide-free produce for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Regular visits reveal the cyclical nature of farming, delivering a rich learning experience for all ages.
